Two days. One hill. Many worlds of music.

A two-day, diverse multi genre music festival on Halifax’s Citadel Hill.

Magnetic World Music Festival lands atop Halifax's Citadel Hill on September 25 & 26, 2026 · a natural amphitheatre above the harbour, ringed by the city and the sea.

A multi-genre weekend · EDM, hip-hop and more across both days. One ticket to both. All-ages and 19+ tiers · varies by pass.

Magnetic World is an Indigenous-owned festival held on Mi'kma'ki territory · the unceded ancestral homeland of the Mi'kmaq Nation. A portion of proceeds supports residential school survivors and their families.

A short history

From Moncton to the Citadel.

Magnetic World started in 2022 as a one-day festival in Moncton, New Brunswick · the bet that Atlantic Canadians would show up for touring acts that usually skipped the region. They did.

In 2023 the festival moved to Halifax's Citadel Hill · a natural amphitheatre with a 360° view of the city. 2026 is the fourth year on the hill, and the fifth edition overall.
