These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Magnetic World Music Festival Giveaway (“Giveaway”), operated by Magnetic World Music Festival (“Organizer”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not participate.

1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
1.2 Residency: Open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and any other jurisdictions where participation is not prohibited by law. International entries are permitted where lawful.
1.3 Exclusions: Employees, contractors, agents, and representatives of the Organizer, affiliated companies, sponsors, suppliers, and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible.
1.4 Compliance: Giveaway is void where prohibited, restricted, or subject to registration, licensing, bonding, or other legal requirements. Entrants are responsible for confirming local laws.⸻
2. GIVEAWAY PERIODThe Giveaway begins on Aug 28 2025 at 11:00pm Atlantic Time (“AT”) and ends on Sep 18 2025 at 11:59 PM AT. Entries received outside this period will be void.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 Entry Method:
Participants must:
• Like, save, and repost the Giveaway post on Instagram.
• Follow [@magneticworldmf] on Instagram.
• Tag friends in the comments of the Giveaway post (each unique tag = 1 entry, unlimited entries permitted).
• Share the post to Instagram Stories and tag @magneticworldmf.
3.2 No Purchase Necessary: A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.
3.3 Invalid Entries: Any automated, bulk, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, forged, or generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means will be void.

Student Prize (1 winner, drawn Sept 11):
• 5 VIP Weekend Passes to MWMF (approx. $3,000 CAD)
• Merch Package (approx. $1,000 CAD)
• $2,000 CAD Student Bursary
• Travel to MWMF (up to $1,000 CAD)
Travel Prize (1 winner, drawn Sept 4):
• 5 VIP Weekend Passes to MWMF (approx. $3,000 CAD)
• Merch Package (approx. $1,000 CAD)
• Europe Trip Flights Voucher (up to $3,000 CAD)
4.1 Total Approximate Retail Value: Over $20,000 CAD.
4.2 No Substitutions: Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value, except at Organizer’s sole discretion. Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize, or portion thereof, with one of equal or greater value for any reason.
4.3 Travel Conditions: Winners are responsible for passports, visas, travel insurance, and compliance with airline, transportation, and event requirements. Vouchers are subject to blackout dates, availability, and supplier terms.
4.4 Taxes: All taxes, fees, and import duties associated with prize acceptance are the sole responsibility of the winner.

5. WINNER SELECTION & ODDS
5.1 Draws: Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received by each applicable draw deadline.
5.2 Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
5.3 Verification: Potential winners must meet eligibility requirements and may be required to provide government-issued photo ID, proof of residency, and, for the Student Prize, proof of enrollment in an accredited institution.
5.4 Skill-Testing Question: In compliance with Canadian law, selected winners must correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance.
5.5 Disqualification: Failure to respond within 72 hours of notification, inability to attend the event, or failure to meet these Terms will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

6. PUBLICITY RELEASEBy accepting a prize, winners grant Organizer and its affiliates the right to use their name, likeness, voice, hometown, statements, and photographs in any media, worldwide, for publicity, promotional, and advertising purposes without further compensation or consent, except where prohibited by law.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
7.1 Right to Cancel/Modify: Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway, in whole or in part, for any reason, including fraud, technical failure, or any other cause that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway.
7.2 Force Majeure: Organizer is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to fulfill prizes due to acts of God, weather, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or any event beyond Organizer’s reasonable control.
7.3 Assumption of Risk: Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Winners and guests assume all risks related to prize acceptance, travel, and event attendance, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or death.
7.4 Release of Liability: By participating, entrants release Organizer, affiliates, sponsors, Instagram, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability arising from participation, prize acceptance, or use/misuse of a prize.
7.5 Indemnification: Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of participation or violation of these Terms.

8. PRIVACY
Personal information collected will be used only for Giveaway administration and prize fulfillment, in accordance with Organizer’s Privacy Policy. Data may be stored outside your jurisdiction and subject to foreign laws.

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. You understand you are providing your information to the Organizer, not Instagram.

10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nova Scotia.
